"Squeaky", 2001

The inspiration for "Squeaky" came from those insufferable motivational posters found in seemingly every place of business. The eagle was traced from a photo I found on the Internet. The sky is a gradient I made in Adobe Photoshop from a picture I took of a clear blue sky at Shelley Lake in Raleigh, North Carolina; it has become a mainstay of many of my pieces. The color of the ground comes from a photo of a mud bank I took, also at Shelley Lake.
