"Chris and Morty", 2000

At first, I was going to donate this piece to the Wake County AIDS Service Agency charity art auction, so I wanted it to have a sort of gay theme. In the end, I chickened out, since I'm straight and didn't want to offend anyone. Instead, I made a print of this piece and gave it to some gay friends, who framed and hung it. Two years later, I did donate it to the auction, and a very generous patron bought it for a considerable multiple of its retail price.
