"Benjamin Franklin Erupts", 2000

This piece started off as a crude line drawing, but after experimenting with including digital images, I decided to go all out and use scanned material. The head (and fragments thereof) of Benjamin Franklin, Independence Hall, the White House, foliage, and dominant colors of this piece were taken from the redesigned $100 and $20 U.S. currency. The vaguely perturbed expression on Franklin's face lends some necessary atmosphere.
